WORK WITH the A.T.L.
Reach communities. Support original work.
The A.T.L. offers conversations around local and national advertising, original-production sponsorship, and relevant business collaboration. We build each opportunity around the property, audience, placement, and deliverables involved.
Ways to work together
News & bureau advertising
Connect your business with readers through advertising on the national hub or a participating state bureau. Local bureau opportunities focus on the community your business serves; national placements offer a wider network context.
Original-production sponsorship
Support a short film or other original production through an agreed sponsorship package. Depending on the project, proposed benefits may include acknowledgment, approved product placement, or associated promotional materials.
Sponsored business features
Tell a business story through clearly identified sponsored content where an appropriate package is agreed. Paid promotional work must be distinguished from independently selected news coverage.
Distribution & educational collaboration
Discuss relevant distribution, exhibition, or educational uses of available and developing work. Rights, delivery, access, and permitted uses are considered separately for each proposal.
Lucky 13 advertising
Lucky 13 is our limited-placement advertising campaign across the A.T.L. N.E.W.S. hub and the five participating state bureaus. Each site’s planned inventory consists of 13 exclusive positions and four rotating positions, subject to actual availability and placement confirmation.
Campaign structure
- Exclusive placements have a six-month term.
- One additional six-month renewal may be offered, for a maximum of 12 months in the placement.
- Renewal notice is planned 45 days before expiration, with confirmation due 30 days before expiration. There is no automatic renewal.
- After the maximum term, the placement becomes available to the next sponsor.
Payment & enrollment
Regular rotating advertising is offered in three-day, seven-day, and 30-day periods and is prepaid before the campaign begins. Lucky 13 sponsors may pay monthly at standard rates or prepay the six-month term for a 10% discount.
The current early-enrollment incentive offers 30 free days of rotating advertising with the advertiser’s Home Bureau for eligible agreements signed by November 13, 2026. Confirm eligibility, availability, timing, and the applicable rate in your written campaign agreement.
The highest Lucky 13 sponsorship tier includes one complimentary the A.T.L. N.E.W.S. business feature profile, identified as sponsored or business-partner content. Placement and content details must be confirmed in the package.
Cancellation framework
Campaign cancellations at least seven days before the start are eligible for a refund. Cancellations less than seven days before the start are nonrefundable, although a credit may be offered. After a campaign starts, payments are nonrefundable except where the A.T.L. fails to deliver the agreed service. Ending a Lucky 13 campaign early does not automatically release its six-month financial commitment. The written agreement sets the specific obligations for each engagement.
How an engagement begins
- Tell us your objective. Identify your business, preferred community or property, and proposed timing.
- Confirm the opportunity. We review fit, availability, deliverables, and the relevant rate or sponsorship package.
- Agree the details. Scope, creative approvals, payment, dates, and reporting belong in writing before work begins.
- Deliver and review. Campaigns and production collaborations are assessed against the agreed work, rather than assumed audience or revenue guarantees.
Start a business conversation
Send your company name, website, target market, requested dates, and a short description of the opportunity. Production sponsors should also identify the project of interest.
